1. Get People Excited About What You Have to Offer!

2. Go where the Money Is!

3. You Must Be Agile & Be Ready to Jump on Opportunities Fast!  (Get 1st Mover Advantage)

4. ALWAYS mention your website when you introduce yourself!  (Dan mentioned that Gold Chapter Member, Geanine Thompson, www.TheCollegeGuru.com, was the 1st person who was sharp enough to do that when asking him questions after he addressed hundreds in 2 previous City Visits).

5. Do several things to position yourself as a celebrity in your niche so that you not only get the attention of your target marketing but also those who they cater to….Create Buzz About Your from Several Sources.

6. Have the Confidence to Sell to Really Rich People!  All you need is 1 Really Rich Person to get that ‘One of A Kind’ item from you and then you are off to the races.  (Dan gave this advice to Gold Chapter Member, Shimoda, our resident Celebrity Jewelry Designer…& I have been telling her that too for the past 18 months [sigh]).  Okay Shimoda, we look forward to seeing your release of your ‘one of a kind’ $27,000 piece, now that Dan has spoken to you directly!  ?

7. Advertise or Get Articles written about you in the magazines that your target audience reads for pleasure.  Go off the beaten path once you learn what their interests are.

8. Always offer ‘Done For You’ options to your prospects since not everyone wants to learn how to do it…they just want to have it done for them!

9. Really Focus on the ‘WHO’ you are aiming your product or service to…not just what you are selling!  Too many of us spend most of our time on our product or service features and benefits and no time on mastering WHO your prospects are and what they are thinking.

10. “The Thinning of the Herd”:  According to Dan, An “Economic Enema” is now taking place in the Economy where before everyone was able to get by with mediocre marketing or nonexistent marketing and followup.  Now that everyone is tightening up, all the more reason to pay close attention to building trust, following up and refining your Marketing System.  Yes, it takes work and focus to get things in order, but it is absolutely worth it to sustain and grow your business!

11. “The Best Advantage in Business is a Complicated Marketing System” – this was illustrated by Gold Chapter Member, David Oliver who shared with us that his sophisticated marketing system has given him an advantage over his competitors as they are not willing to invest in themselves or their business and put in the time to make things work with excellence!

12. Why settle for long sales cycles?  For B2B sales cycle, you must Compress and Speed up the Contacts, i.e. have lots of contacts in short period of time!

If any of this resonates with you, consider applying for one of our Kennedy Study & Mastermind Group Meetings starting in September!  Our members in attendance will share their takeaways from Dan Kennedy’s presentation at our next Chapter meeting!  I salute those who took time out of their schedules to attend this FREE event.
